Lynnette Anne Risstrom, 1st child of Herbert Kitchener and Nancy
May (nee Hooper) Risstrom was born on 3rd October, 1946 in Melbourne, Victoria.
Lynnette
grew up in Pascoe Vale, then Pascoe Vale South attending Pascoe Vale
Primary School then Oak Park High School. Lynnette left high school
to attend Zercho's Business College where she graduated and took her first
position at Gala Industries. Very soon she moved to VACC
Insurance where she initially worked in the accounts department, eventually
being promoted to Secretary to the Company Secretary.
Lynnette
met her husband Ronald Keith Bailey on a blind date and they married in 1968 and
had 2 children - Cameron Stuart (b. 1975) and Troy Campbell (b.1976)
They commenced their married life for a short time in Northcote until their home
was built in Vermont South and have since moved to Bundoora.
Ron began his
career as a Clerk of Courts and held many positions within the Victorian Public
Service where it was necessary to interpret law relating to the specific
department of his employ. His present position is as a law
enforcement officer in the Taxi and Tow Truck industry.
Lynette works as a bookkeeper at Eagle Remac, a furniture manufacturing
company in Keon Park.
Lynnette and Ron are committed Christians
and are very involved in the Yarra Plenty Christian Centre, Lower
Plenty. Lyn oversees a cell group and is in charge of catering while
Ron oversees much of the welfare within the church.

Cameron, is employed in the area of New Media (video, IT, computer)
and is married to Linda Van Leer dam, a Children's Minister at Doncaster Churches of Christ
on 6th April 2002.
* Troy, a Telstra technician, is single and enjoys surfing
and other active pursuits.
